Wilshire Presbyterian Church

Sundays

1952 Sunday Service

This is what a typical Sunday looks like at WPC:

9 am - Choir
Any one is welcome to join our choir who leads in the congregation in worshipping God through music. The choir meets every Sunday morning (except during summer when they take a well-deserved break) in the choir room to practice for the morning worship service.

10:30 am - Worship Service
All are invited to join us for our morning Worship Service in the church Sanctuary. Children attend the first portion of the worship service and are then dismissed for Sunday School.

12 pm Lunch
Lunch is served after the Worship Service in the Fellowship Hall - anyone and everyone is welcome.

12.30 pm Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry distributes groceries every Monday morning to those who struggle to make ends meet. We prepare these bags on Sunday afternoons. If you are interested in helping out, we meet at the Marylynn I. Evans Community Center after lunch.

Join us!
Worship: Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Communion is served every first Sunday of the month.

On the third Sunday of the month, we have our Service of Wholeness, where those in need of healing in their lives can come forward for special prayer and anointing with oil.

Every Sunday a different person from the congregation hosts and leads the worship service with the pastor. Once a month, the pastor invites a member from the congregation to preach.  If you are interested in helping as a Worship Leader, please contact the church office at (213) 387 5387 or email us at wilshirepc@sbcglobal.net

10:45 am - Sunday School
Children grades K through 8th are invited to attend our Sunday School where they will experience God's love and grow in their knowledge and faith. They interact with Biblical stories and characters through arts, crafts, drama, music, games, movies and more!
